Sham Shui Po DX Design Gallery | Design Centre Hong Kong and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong and Macau Present 《Design Cycle – Cyclical Design》 and 《Circularity》 Exhibitions

Description

Presented jointly by Design Centre Hong Kong and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong and Macau, the exhibitions will be held at the DX Design Gallery from August to November, building on the creative energy and connections forged during Business of Design Week (BODW) 2023.

The exhibitions include an upgraded version of 《All Things Circular》, previously shown at the Central Market, and 《Designing Circularity》, an extension of the 《((Capsule))》 exhibition, which was showcased during the Dutch Design Week 2023. Both exhibitions explore the transformative power of 'circularity', a key concept driving sustainable innovation and the realisation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. Featuring innovative designs from the Netherlands and Hong Kong, the exhibitions showcase how designers reimagine architectural spaces, fashion, services, and everyday objects from a whole life cycle perspective, putting the principles of cyclical design into practice.
